ON THE EDGE. Once the final decision of what color and type of stone has been made, the next question is what type of edge profile to use. The more complicated an edge profile is the more expensive it becomes. Whether it is a contemporary flat polished edge or an antique ogee, there are profiles to meet any desired design. It is extremely important to review diagrams of edge detail. Edge work is an art in iteself, selecting an appropriate edge cam make the most simple of projects truly stunning.

SINK. One of the first things you'll need to figure out is how much space you have in your sink area which will ultimately define how big a kitchen sink you can buy. If your kitchen sink area is small, consider going with a single bowl kitchen sink to use your space wisely. 

Double-bowl kitchen sinks are very popular these days. They are usually divided into a larger basin for washing dishes and a smaller side for disposing of scraps of food in your garbage disposal. Stainless kitchen sinks are the most popular simply because they won't chip, rust, stain or fade. Stainless steel sinks come int 18-23 guages - the lower the guage the thicker the steel will be.

BACKSPLASH. The purpose of the backsplash first and foremost is a practical one. The backsplash acts as a protective barrier to shield the wall surface against splatter when cooking and water splashes while doing dishes. The most important part of designing a backsplash is to realize that while it does have an impact on the overall look, it is best to leave the backsplash as one of the last decisions while designing your kitchen.

COST/PRICING. We will provide you with a finished and installed quote that includes the cost of the slab material you select. Our competitive price includes countertop and installation. We'll handle the entire project in four simple steps.

1. Our design professionals can assist you in determining the best materials for your budget and help you decide on the perfect bath or kitchen color scheme. On your very fist visit we'd be happy to give you a free quick quote. After we accurately measure the area of installation we can give you the best quote, but this initial quote will help you decide what will best fit your budget. We have beautiful selections for almost any budget!  

2. Our designer will come to your home to measure your countertops to ensure a custom fit. Don't forget that we also do bar tops and table tops in addition to bathroom and kitchens. Want a spectacular outdoor kitchen? We can help with that too. We will give you an estimate for the entire job after we get the measurements and details of the job.  When the estimate is approved and signed by you we'll collect 50% as the down payment prior to starting the job. The balance will be due by completion of the project.

3. Within 48 hours we'll schedule the template. Our stone professionals use the template to ensure that your countertop fits your space perfectly. After we have the template it goes to the granite shop for cutting. Your countertop should be ready for installation in about 10 days. Once your stone is cut we'll set up the final installation date. To prepare for your new countertop the old countertop must me removed and all access and entry ways into your home and work area should be cleared.

4. Installation usually takes 1 - 2 says depending on the size of the project. After we've completed the installation we'll collect the final payment. In just a few days you too could be enjoying a brand new, gorgeous granite countertop.
